a couple of weeks ago while Memphis was still in side a pal of mine reckons he has heard he is already on the way out of the LvG revolving door....at the time it seemed whacky !

also mentioned Griezmann will replace him

Lingard deserves his chance as much as Depay. If it hadn't been for injuries we might have seen more of him. Good situation to have.

When you're seeing the manager turn to Lingard to change the game instead of you it doesn't look good
The problem is that both Rooney and Depay have been pretty kack overall (despite occasionally displaying a bit of talent) and Martial has been the better option on the left wing and also at 9. Captain isn't getting dropped and LVG reckons Martial at LW brings better balance to the team. Simples. If he could stick another dynamite player on the left wing then I guarantee that Rooney would see some bench time.

If this happens then it'll prove Van Gaal sees his players as objects in the same way as Benitez and he'll keep throwing money at the wall until someone else does a Martial and fit in seamlessly. We've got a talented squad. We're good enough to win the league. Work with what we have and get the best out of them should be his priority. Not who next to buy.

I think Depay will hit his stride soon. Should have been the other way tbh. Introduced slowly then when he's settled raise expectations.

Griezmann should be coming in to play with Martial and Memphis. If the opposition have a couple of threats other than Memphis to worry about, he might just get a bit of space to play..

Looking like a flop right now.
Looks like a young player in a new league who van gaal knows needs developing.

Seems to me Van Gaal is all about the attitude, which is why Rooney is still in the team and Depay is not. Also why Di Maria and Van Persie were sold. He certainly doesn't let the grass grow under his feet.

you'd think he'll get a run vs boro. The sooner he finds his feet the better and we can re-arrange the furniture

Nah Van Gaal hates him pal. He'll never play again - like Herrera and Rojo.

Sick of him holding us back by never picking any of the class players he's signed for us, except when he does pick them
