2 of those wins were Arsenal & Southampton away btw

Came on in 4 others: W 1 D2 L1 (Leicester)


He's improved quite a lot under LVG along with the rest of the side, but let's not kid ourselves United's defensive record isn't mostly down to De Gea ffs

Smalling has been our best defender this season.

Their faults are highlighted because they play for Utd. Easy to point at players like Vertonghen, Vlaar, Fonte etc as players from lesser clubs who could do a better job. Look at Lovren at Liverpool, last year he was a highly respected part of a good Southampton side, a side who are very defensive and have less expansive requirements of their back 4. At Liverpool he is very average.
