Yes, the reffing was appalling.

Yes, we fell apart and should have shown more cajones.

But £#%&! it, it was months ago. We get this shit all the time (teams playing their 'cup final' against us).

Let's move on. We got plenty more shit like this to deal with.

Absolutely.

If we miss out on champions league by 2 points this season no doubt this thread will be bumped

Van Gaal needs to do it a bit as well. Refs need to think about decisions they could give against us

Put it this way, if Clattenburg had turned a game like that and it was Young that went down like a sack of shit - and played up to the media - we'd still be hearing about it now.

Try 20 years later. They still go on about fergie time on the Bruce 97th min v sheff wed but don't bat an eyelid when the dippers score in the same minute against arsenal

Of course, that would be the game when then Sheff Wed manager Trevor Francis said afterwards that the added time had been totally legitimate and he had no complaints.

Something TOTALLY airbrushed from history

It wasn't confirmed on the channel i was watching .
The 1st penalty was obviously ridiculous but at that point we were still winning the game .
How we fell apart after was inexcusable
I don't remember sky showing a replay of whether the cross for Ulloa's goal was in or out - so it was probably out.

I agree with these sentiments but I will just say, imagine a match where a referee gives to United what he gave to Leicester that day.

There'd just be a big smoking rock where England used to be.

Well match of the day's coverage would have been mightily different. Lineker sat there in his skin tight shirt, face like a wet weekend - "so alan, mark clattenburg's performance"....."terrible gary, shocking. Let's go into incredible detail on every indiscretion.."
