Can you imagine being forced to play at the highest level in football going through that.

Disgraceful penny pinching from Ferie, let the guy £#%&!ing rest, is he trying to kill him. Anything to avoid buying a £#%&!ing holding midfielder.

cut out the diseased part of the bowel and re-connect it. Took me 2 months for a full recovery an i had keyhole surgery. I've got crohn's disease so i only had the operation because I got a blockage due to thickening of the intestinal wall.

he's got colitis, so you can just cut it out and it'll never come back. bad part is that colitis is almost entirely limited to the colon, so that's colostomy bag territory.

Oh I see. Nasty stuff. Bet that hurts like a £#%&!er for a while afterwards, moving about and stuff.. Can't see him ever coming back like he was tbh. Looked out of his depth in the few games he played this season.

At least he had a few farewell games and scored an important goal in our quest for the title

So long Dazzler and good luck with the recovery

He'll be on vitamin supplements for the rest of his life i suspect. I'd be very surprised if he's not on regular injections of vitamins from the club doc.

It'll do him good to get off those corticosteroids though as they £#%&! you up long term.

Is this a setback then or would it be part of the plan to treat the problem once and for all? Is there any chance of him playing professionally again?

Only time will tell i think, although once they cut it out, it'll never come back.

the only question is how much bowel was affected by the disease.

Gutted for Fletch

I'm sure Ferie will see him right though.
