There might be a 25% automatic bonus if players reach top 4, but certainly not a '25% cut for not making top 4'.

It was certainly a pay cut the following season when the players failed to make it under moyes, because carrick mentioned it in an interview. But there’s no difference between a 25% bonus or 25% cut anyway.

Erm, the difference is clear.

Unless we've globally decided to rebrand performance related bonuses?

We're not taking money off players for failing to gain a top 4 finish. They will simply revert back to their pre bonus wage as agreed in their contract negotiations.

This is my ruling on the matter.
