Don’t understand Chelsea. Why bring in lampard? A failed manager already .

They could have given it to one of the other staff Members and trundle along till the end of the season. Maybe even give it to another interim manager or an ex player just to bring some feel good factor and then bin him for a proper manager in the summer.

Lampard was/is a disaster waiting to happen . Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of people after spending so much and tried to get around ffp by giving long contracts .
