Sorry to disturb this “poor us” meeting but we shouldn’t be getting battered or playing like that against city.

This new found sympathy for the helpless United manager wasnt extended to mourinho or rangnick so it’s just excuses to support that clown managing us.
How many teams have beaten City at their ground in the last year mate?

Look at that £#%&!ing side we put out there today? Would that be a side you'd expect to turn up and beat the best side in Europe?

So many strawman arguments in one post

Is Marlo arguing with one of his other logins?

We’re reaping what we’ve sown since Fergie left.
fair. one of the most promising aspects of ratcliffes stated approach is an end to manager-led recruitment and wild changes in strategy.

they seem to want a first team coach only, who will work with what they have. "I didn't sign all 11 players" won't be a valid excuse for ETH or any manager

Oh, so you think ten Hag is better than Ferguson?

We aren’t Luton town.
We have players like Antony bought 80m on the bench ffs.

If you want to condemn the squad and hold them accountable then hold everyone accountable.

Villa have beat city this season. we’ve aggregated 6-1 and looked like a conference side against them.

some of our players aren’t the best but neither is our manager.

now we dissecting our squad by free players and academy players. Anything to absolve blame from the manager. Excuses that are kinda fair but never brought out in mourinhos defence….

And now all of a sudden the players aren’t good enough.
I’ve sworn years telling you Rashford and Bruno can’t be the main players in a. Successful side and what was the overall response on here?!??

Most neutrals would tell you no one held them players in high esteem except our deluded fan base and now it’s finally clicked.
Well it’s repeating itself now wih the manager , no one will tell you they to think he is just unlucky. He is a joke of a manager and possibly the worst in the league as he doesn’t seem to learn or adapt to anything.

Alright mate, i'm not here to argue if the manger is good enough or not - we've done that rodeo enough times.

I'm asking you if you think that 11 he put out on the pitch today - which is pretty much all he could choose from...should be turning up and beating (by your standards) the best team in europe who are at full strength, not a single injury, and haven't lost a game at home since November 2022?

You constantly tell us the players are all shit (which i don't think any of us could doubt) but then you tell us we should be turning up and beating the treble winners?

The manager will be gone soon enough

Yes if set up right we could have beaten city and if we were well coached for a season or so we should know how to pass our way out of city’s press and hold onto the ball.

This city team are not actually that good. I’d say the worst since Pep has been there.
They give you more of a chance but we weren’t good enough due to our lack of coaching.
We have no passing patterns, no automatic positioning where you just know where a player will be if you get the ball and need to pass first time, no nothing

A team will turn over city soon as they are way to open and give you chances while their attacking isn’t as surgical or clinical.
(Float to doku for iso or find a very static haaland)
You don’t need possession to beat them just a low block and enough quality on the ball to get 5/6 passes up the pitch.

Shame. But what a decade it has been! They can’t take that away from us.

Hold the fort, Brian Glover's logged in😁 'and it's a fair haired slightly balding Charlton to kick off'.

in fairness, whilst city might be the best team in the world and we are running on empty and playing narrow fullbacks, one of whom isn't one, if garnacho and rashford had a modicum of confidence and competence, we would have been 4-0 up at ht and rashford would not have fallen over under the lightest of contacts.

the number of chances we didn't create simply by being too timid to push for the chance when in threatening positions.... it's a sickness.

It’s not a sickness it’s to be expected and is a result of losing 16 times this season and having a negative GD in March and being dumped out the cl group bottom and playing at best decently a handful of times in over a year. Probably start to doubt yourself a bit.

when you're losing and you have an opportunity to cross into the opponent's penalty area and you pass back to your keeper, it's more than a bit.

We’ll be telling our kids, grandkids and great-grandkids about the MUFC glory years of 2014-2024.

Some of our players just surrender the ball and stay on the floor, or, get hit in the stomach by the ball and stay down like our captain did whilst we were defending.

They’re embarrassing some of our players.

Lots of injuries but we look like a really poor side unfortunately.

Need a new GK, centre half, right back, left back, CDM, CAM, left winger, and a striker. Other than that, we are in good shape.

Yeah really expected us to do better without our first choice centre back (and senior backup), left back (and senior backup), right back and striker.

Went as expected, really. Our squad (and management) is poor, that’s before injuries and with the injuries, our squad is woeful.
