Hope this is true, would make us much stronger imo but I reckon Atletico will demand more.

This 100%. Would be very confident of third and close to the top two at a minimum if we got him.

I'm not doubting his quality but is he really what we need? We're desperate for a striker and whenever I've watched him he plays deeper. Pretty similar to Bruno.

if we could ship in world class players to meet our needs, then a dm, cf and rb would be the priorities.

but... for anything like £5mio... given the options we have up front and the "loss" of the great ronaldo... I'm in. not turning down a january transfer because he's a bit like bruno.
