Apparently the reason Spurs can get this done is because they don’t want the image rights that was such a turn off for us?

Not sure how true it is but would make sense how they’re affording him along side Lo Celso and Sessegnon?

So many good players moving to other clubs while we’re standing around scratching our arse hole

PAULO DYBALA has reportedly agreed personal terms to join Tottenham — but the Juventus star's image rights are stalling the deal.
So the same position as we were in then.

Edit - just seen AKers post.

The absolute, £#%&!ing state, of our club.

The only salvation here is if we sign Fernandes but that ain't happening.

This would be the most un-spurs like signing ever.

Why are Juve so eager to get rid of him? He's a good player and doesn't seem a trouble maker. £60m seems ridiculous in this market. Is he on astronomical wages?

The image rights issue. It's a pain in the arse for Juventus and would be for us too but not such a problem for Spurs as they haven't as much to lose from it.

I think people have to accept he didn't want to come here
CL football, London and Poch big factors

If he goes to Spurs he'll win £#%&! all so more fool him

Still can't see them paying him the wage he'd want
Would break their wage structure

He probably wants CL football and Spurs making the final last season obviously sweetened the deal.

We need a striker signing today.

Wasn’t it only the British press that were reporting his wages and agents demands?

Maybe he told us to £#%&! off so to save face Woodward briefed the press that his wages were astronomical and we had to walk away.

Could be he just wanted parity with the top paid players at the club

At Spurs that is a lot lower than with us

I'm wondering whether it could be an Adidas thing?

If not that, one of the raft of sponsors we have. Be a ballache getting Dybala to advertise Chingchong pool cleaner accessories when someone else owns his image rights.

It was probably an excuse by united for not wanting to do the deal.

If Spurs actually sign Lo Celso and Dybala (I'd be shocked) than things at United are clearly way worse than anyone is admitting.

All well and good paying for upcoming promising talent but you still have to buy a few from the top end thats how we used to operate. Rip in peace.
