To reminisce these years later you turtle.

I was obviously at every game but didn't take my Sharp ViewCam HD with me to view in 2018...

What a season

Our stewards when Yorke scored his goals v Inter. Compare to what they're like now ffs

£#%&!ing hell - I thought at the time I appreciated my good fortune to be part of it all but it's only with hindsight that you can see just how £#%&!ing spectacular those days were.

I got chased out of the upper tier of the Inter end when Scholesy scored - bouncing down the stairs like Captain Kangaroo... Happy times.

Poor old Brondby being in the same group as us, Barca and Bayern

Ole's bullet finish in the 6-2 away

We scored 20 goals in that group that year.

Be lucky to score once if it happened now.

Beckham was outstanding that season. So many goals from his crossings.

Thumbs up

Who’d have thought we’d achieve what we did after the charity shield that season and didn’t we go 2-0 down against Leicester on the opening day (beckahm with a last minute equaliser)

Tbf I should probably just watch the video and find for myself

Seriously though what a season!

At least we saw it happen, something that no supporters of our domestic rivals can claim. And hopefully, they never will.

Cole&Yorke, Ole&Teddy, Keano & Schmeichel (rightly) get tons of praise for their contribution that season, but I agree with you ..Beckham was the main man.
That equaliser right on half time against Spurs on the last day, the first goal in the Cup SF win...+ the 2 corners in the Final ffs

...And off the back of being The Most Hated Person in England after France 98.

Of all the towering personalities in that team - Keane included - Beckham had the greatest backbone and strength of character.

Great shame that he'll never get the credit he deserves for that season, and his time at United.

+1 for the Becks love train ere. The lad ducked out of nothing on the pitch - see the Bayern away game there, knows he's gonna get clattered and still delivers a perfect cross. Not one of our players would have the stones to put their body on the line in the same way now
