Inter, where the team spirit is amazing and everything is so much better than United, finished bottom of their group.

Don't think we will be seeing all that bullshit for a bit.

As I said earlier we clearly do not have a defensive coach at all. Ole needs to sort that immediately.

On that first goal all the defenders apart from Telles are out of position. They should all be much further over to their right - all got sucked in.

not sure that's the point. it is a distraction and the thursday schedule is disruptive. we should treat it like the league cup (ie: it's not that we're important, it's that the competition is unimportant) and play youngsters or players who needs games for match fitness. we are in a state where we have to focus on the league - and maybe training the defence during the week - just in order not to finish in mid-table obscurity... or, worse, qualify for the £#%&!ing europa cup again.

We’re not going to win the league so surely a Europa win would count as a decent season?

yes. but if we don't win it, it would count as a waste of time and damaging to the league position. are we going to win anything? might as well pack up and go home.

by the way, we are far closer to winning the league than we deserve to be, currently.
