i think Ole really liked how that formation controlled the game against PSG....

it also allows him to utilize the depth in midfield that he has while being able to give Bruno and Rashford a rest for Arsenal

I think they kept the 5 subs rule for the CL this year, it’s only the PL that dropped it.

Had the same reaction Sanchez did.

Wasn't sure what to expect but surprised all the same. The selection seems to be more about rotation than winning the game, at least from the midfield out.

No wingers or attacking full-backs seems an odd choice. Fred on the right of a diamond? Don't see that working out. Maybe it'll be more of a 3 in midfield (VDB right; Fred left) with Pogba on the left of a front 3, out of the road.

Tbf last season when he rotated the team everyone lost their shit because it meant Lingard, Pereira or Jones was starting instead.
