By the evening, McMahon was offering his support. “It will be interesting to see what comes out in the coming days and weeks from managers who have sent teams out to play against Gary Neville and said ‘get at Neville, he can’t run, he can’t defend’. That is what will happen now.”
I assume those managers didn't have much success in their careers with that sort of tactical analysis.

As for the melty, tax avoiding sack of shit, I'm guessing he also had the "roight ravin' 'amp" with Fergie for his "Lads, it's Tottenham" soundbite?

Don't really understand the point Neville is trying to make tbh. That Spurs' are the same as they were 30 years ago?

Actually taking the time to make that spreadsheet as well was

The point in how much of a better job Poch has done in relatively similar circumstances to any of their former managers over that period. They're not a league winning proposition, but they are firmly entrenched in the Top 3 & can surely no longer be considered a soft touch.

It's a big compliment to their current side, and a fair reflection of what a pile of £#%&! they have historically been.

Redknapp argues like the thick @#%&! he is. Neville's record at Valencia is irrelevant to what he said about Spurs.

Everything on that table is laughable, bar Spurs' ability to compete where they have, from the £.5bn that City have spent to how much we have wasted comparatively. Football is utterly shit these days with regards to how much return you get for your money. There's no exaggeration to say you would expect to be seeing absolutely incredible footballers in your side week in, week out for that sort of outlay & we have the side we do, down in 10th ffs

Yep, not hard to see the point he was making- and that he's bang on. Unless you're a bit of a thick @#%&!..

Disgraceful the money we've spent. City have only spent 50 odd million more and yet the quality of the players they've signed have been far exceeding some of the shite we've clogged the team up with. £#%&!ing Woodward and lvg and mourinho. Just a bunch of morons.

Carragher loves bringing up Neville at Valencia.

As if Neville trying to manage is worse than Carragher not bothering.

Don't see all the fuss about what Neville has said. Every man and his dog knows the old 'lads, it's spurs' cliche, yet people are pointing out Neville like he's attacking one particular manager

The fact Redknapp is the one who has responded says more about his own insecurities than anything else.

Neville seems to be the pundit whose managerial record is called in to question when they make a point.

Andy Gray, Jamie Redknapp, Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson have featured heavily for 20 years as pundits.
