Silvestre is shite but a better person than Heinze.

Wouldnt sign for Newcastle because that dick Joey Barton plays for them - good guy, crap player

Silvestre is not shit.

At 29 he is a very good player to have in the squad.

The one criticism I would have of him is his inability to adjust to playing sporadically. If he doesn't play regularly, he loses his concentration easily.

For about 12 months he was the best centre half around, he fell apart, along with the rest of the defence and midfield, about the time Rio got suspended.

He should play left back, second only to Evra, IMO.
