Great game. Ruud at his best, coming on and changing the game in the space of 2 minutes. Pitch invasion after the 3rd and at the end were class too
I was just thinking about that when I saw the thread title.

Train down was bouncing, somehow being able to give my ticket at the turnstile whilst holding three tins under my jacket (and having the ticket for the wrong stand), 20,000 Reds on two sides of the ground, then that five-minute period, then walking back to the station with a steward's chair whilst my mate had a coppers helmet and just went 'Nee-naw, nee-naw' all the way.

Not memorable for what it meant in the end (£#%&!ing Boro @#%&!s), but just a wonderful day.

It was a brilliant game too and we played amazing that night, who said Ronaldo couldn't do it in big games.

5-0 city

2-1 against scousers in the fa cup in 99, when ole scored the last minute winner

newcastle 1-0 away

any away game the season after beckham got sent off in the world cup. chelsea and leicester spring to mind.

Rotterdam, City 3-2, Villa 3-2..all spot on.

- 18,000 at Hillsboro in 88/89 when we were mid-table.

- Liverpool 3-1 at home on 1/1/89.

- Liverpool 2-0 in the league cup early 90s. The noise when Hughes (on one leg) scored past Grobbelshit was amazing.

- Juventus away in 99

Coventry at home around Xmas 1992 just after Eric had joined. We won 5-0 and some of the football inspired by the great man was sublime. For the first half of the season we'd been as dull as £#%&!, lots of goalless or 1 -1 draws then all of a sudden once Eric arrived and settled in something clicked, we opened teams up for fun and went on to win the league. Always sticks in my mind that one

United 3 - 2 Juventus, Champions League group Stage 1997/98

Wonderful goal (and performance) from Giggs

Juventus 0 - 3 United, Champions League 2003

Giggs, yet again, with a great display and a fantastic goal. I remember he was getting some stick at the time from sections of the fan base (@#%&!s) and he shut them all up in that game.

Villa 1 - 2 United 1993/94

Monday Night football Another great game involving my favourite ever United side.

Great choice

The 5-3s at Tottenham and West Ham. A honour to say I was at both.

In fact the 2-0 at Spurs when we practically won the league was sweet. As was the 3-1 on the last day of the season at WHL when we sang every single one of us for the first 30 minutes.

Oh yes, the 5-3! Sadly, I had to make do with the score updates on SSN for that one

What about Norwich away, 1992/93. We went 3-0 up in no time. Great performance.

Beating leeds scum 1-0 in 2000, after Fergie dropped Beckham.

3-3 at the Nou Camp in 1999 was special. Possibly the most entertaining game we've ever been involved in?

Winning 3-1 at Anfield in 1997 was sweet too, especially as all the scouse @#%&!s were convinced they'd beat us and win the title Reds in the Annie Road setting of flares and holding up that sign - MUFC: We Won The Championship On Merseyside
