Default Blind at LB

Big fan of the dreamboat but he got done a couple of times today.

With his pace issues do you see him there over Shaw long term?

Shaw makes Blind look like Megamind.

If Carrick is out next weekend, play blind as the holding midfield with shaw back in at LB

No, he's done well, but he's better further forward

Yup,

Was shown up for pace a few times which isn't that surprising as he isn't that fast really.

The positives massively outweigh the negative with him though.

they surely do..

its a great problem to have. but you wouldn't play him over Carrick in CM.

Only position I see up for grabs is Fellaini's or the LB slot. Surely Shaw is the long term prospect there.

Next week is simple, hopefully Shaw returns... if not Rojo at LB and Blind im midfield.

Awful thread, got up and down well today.

"Can you pop into lb mate, drop from defensive M"

"Shireshh"

the only question is why silv is asking this question again.

blind. utility player. emergency left back. competent midfielder. a bit slow. gnome-like.

are we done here?

He's an amazing player mate.

I adore him.

Didn't mean to appear curt.

He's a great little player who can play a few positions to a high standard. Proper footballing brain on him too. Will be an integral part of our second treble winning squad.

An absolute bargain too.

He had a shocker in the first half, 2nd he was much much better.

Shaw will be ace next season in this system.

Like Lvg said the first 15 mins we were awful. Couldn't cope with city's pace. However once we got our act together and city's legs went, he ran the show with Young.

Can't believe this is even being discussed. Our left side since Blind moved to LB has been night and day. I don't recall Neville or Irwin being speed merchants. Blind will learn.
