...Smalling's been "doing some work with the first Team" for about 8 weeks now.

Jones is just as baffling:shakehead: ...where is he?? & how the £#%&! did they both manage to pick up such severe long term injuries when not actually playing a match??

Not sure about gurnlord, but some @#%&! broke smalling's toe in training

Phelan probably dropped a cone on it.

be interesting to see if he replaces rio or evans when he eventually comes back

evans has been the better of the pair this season imo

Exactly, sooner we are rid of them both long term the better.

There will be a few fanboys throwing a few of about but lets be honest who the £#%&! wants Walcott and Evans in their team?

Kagawa out for another 4 weeks.

Evans is comfortably first choice defender these days. Won't change any time soon. He's been very good this season. Too many try hards on here.

We've got far more pressing problems in other areas of the team, however shit you think the defence is it's not as shit as the midfield.
