So you'd get promoted?

Doesn't the whole concept of promotion & relegation bother people in America on a fundamental level, rather like when the people of North Manchester try to comprehend the notion of inside toilets?

Lost 2-1 on an 85th minute header.

Bit gutted but tbh I played a blinder and we really could have taken a tonking. Other team had a French fella with a very long throw - I must have come and cleanly taken 5 or 6 before he started aiming them a bit further out, came and took a few corners and free kicks as well, kicked well all night, a couple of decent saves. Couldn't do anything about either goal, just wasn't our night.

Another season in Division Two. Which, come to think of it, really doesn't matter at all.

If you had managed to get yourselves promoted, wouldn't you have just got a tonking every week?

Pretty shit being the goalkeeper when you are getting leathered every time you play, believe me. Overworked and under appreciated, used to feel like it was shooting practice, everyone against me, and that was only at 5 a side

Not every week, only by the top 2 or 3 teams. But it would be worth it for a couple of reasons: games at Pier 40 in the West Village, instead of way the £#%&! out on Randall's Island; and not playing the same 3 teams over and over.

I'm not sure why we took something of a battering tonight. We beat them 3-1 just the other week.

Dear: SLOPPY,

Thank you for your contribution to this thread. We read it with interest, but I'm afraid it is not what we're looking for right now.

Please do feel free to submit again in future.

Playing the same 3 teams all the time must be shite.

Why don't they just merge the divisions?

Might've been a psychological thing, your team just not quite ready to make the step up?
