I think Vidic struggled a bit against the Barcodes. He was superb against Fulham though, particularly as he was having to cover Evans and O' Shea.

Could Mame Baram Diouf not have been considered?

think i'll plumb for scholes, berbatov has been impressive though, great to see.

What you on about? I think he's started the season very poorly but agreed with dunk about his contribution to the 3rd goal on Satdee? Don't recall slagging any of our new players either by the way.

I'm not his biggest fan no, I think he's a good player to have in the squad 'cos he can backup a number of positions. I would much rather though, Rafael have started the season at fullback with a view to him nailing that position down long-term, particularly given that we've not had the toughest opponents. In the same vein, I'd much rather Hernandez or Macheda come off the bench up front than Owen.

If you look at the games coming up, they are a bit tougher and the CL starts so the younger players are gonna have less chance of playing. It'll be Carling Cup I'd imagine.
