This. Fred the last in the centre circle. Just not ready to receive a pass.

Igahlo is just too isolated and there is zero energy / movement in midfield to get bodies around him

at least 3 changes at half time.

I like Fred but you have to lose a load of games, over a period of mounts, before he's played himself into any form. Lingard, never good enough. Mata is a great player if he's surrounded by pace. Tonight he's not.

Would've prefered a good side starting then changes at halftime.

Any of the league's other 18 teams would be ahead by now.

A disjointed attack is understandable, but the backline is the big concern here. Dalot and Bailly are all over the place.

Mata hasn't been a great player since his first couple of seasons at Chelsea. And I don't even wanna think how long ago that was.

Fred just looks rusty to me. Same with The Scottish Player.

Mata and Lingard are just being their usual selves. Completely safe, when they need to be anything but.

Lingard there just killed that attack dead.

Our best moment is the Harry MaGuire block.

All you can say the backups have shown exactly why they are backups

What is the point of Dalot?
A right back who literally can’t defend

Can we not just go to penalties now?

if nothing else, play dalot up (instead of mata, maybe timmeh fm at right back) and put williams on instead of lingard.

Yep. He might look like a vulture with a huge head, but he stepped up big time there.

Most right backs can't defend tbf. AWB is the exception but he struggles a bit going the other way.
