Apparently their lawyer has an affliction which causes him to rub his index finger and thumb together and raise his eyebrows whenever he’s addressing a judge.

They got 2 years so at best they'll just get one taken off.

Don't think so. They're absolutely bang to rights and everyone knows it. They've got no case whatsoever: all they can say is that the offending emails are hacked. If the CAS lets them slide then the biggest clubs in Europe are going to kick off, and Javier Tebas at the Spanish FA too

Could City theoretically keep this running for as long as they want if they throw money at it? Or could CAS just to tell them to get the £#%&! over it and uphold the ban as the final word?

No. This is already the appeal so CAS's decision is final. And yeah CAS can very much tell City to go f*** themselves

PS the @#%&!s the run city would probably then take them to court but I have no idea where. They could try suing in Switzerland but that would be an expensive waste of time (bit like signing Robinho)

No way. It’ll either be upheld or cut to one. No chance they get a pass.

Good stuff. Still reckon it will be cut down to one season, but should be more than worth it.

Looking forward to hearing City fans saying they should boycott it in future, and they don't even want to win it anymore after what's happened.

I get reducing by a year but a total revoke is insane.

edit: the rumour is all down the pep saying "i am confident we will be in the Champions League next season after seeing the arguments put forward by the club."
