From our own, besides VDS, I would also throw in Rio as a possible candidate. Rio played with smarts while his partner, Vidic, was the sledgehammer. Also, Rio is quite an astute in business and thus wouldn't give 500,000 a week wages to a player who most likely entering the winter years of his career, and give a manager a new contract when that manager is producing iffy shit product on the field.


As for Schmeichel I rather cut off my right nut than give him the DoF position.

Do not let him anywhere near the club...

"If we should have any regrets as #MUFC that is that we only gave David Moyes 7 months! He would've grown into that role. From the club's perspective, we should never ever have dismissed him."

Saw that... something about Phelan and team being let go when it was Moyes decision. The bloke is deluded
