He’s done ok but he’s hardly a new scholes or even Butt ffs. He’s an average midfield player at this stage. Shows how £#%&!ing shite we are that he’s currently standing out in each game he plays in

This. He's what we've come to expect from CM's, wander about a bit, get in the way where you can and play nice safe passes. No energy, no bite, no range of passing. He's doing alright, bit only because all the rest are £#%&!ing shit.

How was/is he when playing with the kids? Was he a stand out at that level? Is he the best midfielder of his generation at United? Worrying if so
Never stood out at youth level
Was bang average at that level as well
Nowhere near seen as one of our better talents

Had a recent growth spurt which has helped him adapt to senior football

He had a decent game last night. Hard work and the influence of training with established players will do him no harm at all though. I suppose until he has a run in the team it’s not fair to judge.

he was older as well. Its strange for Jose to put his faith in youth when he has always bought based on experience

He’s right, fletcher was amazing that season, was gutted when he missed the final....

Fletcher didn’t get the credit (one flag aside) that he deserved...

He’s not so much standing out as he just plays less like a @#%&! than a lot of our other players.

He does have a point tbf....
They weren't yet at their "peak best" and Chelsea should have battered them in the semis, if it weren't for diabolical refereeing decisions...

Having said that, the rest of the team was shite that night and set up pretty badly

Regardless, we'll never know
