In moments of weakness I think it would be ok to have him back.

Then I think about watching him in an apoplectic rage and I want to fire him in to outer space.

His thumbs up after every wayward forward pass is possibly my least favourite United memory of all times.

Can’t remember watching a less refined forward in all my years. He played like he’d just come straight from an afternoon session in Moon under the Water.

Awful player.

Seconded only to the time he tried the 'moody after scoring a goal' thing when he bundled it over the line at home to Bournemouth. Would rather play with 10 men than watch him try and trap a ball.

I take it you've not watched Rashford for the last 5 months then.

I also enjoyed:

“....looks like he’s playing in skinny jeans”

Unfortunately I have. Rashers has the skills and the physical attributes to become a top player. He just suffers from Nani esque decision making.

Never used to win much in the air either. From behind the goal we had the joy of either seeing Smalling's passing contortions or Lukaku running offside. Glory days

Thumbs up

The 2/3 players that we "can take our pick of" are superb. I just don't think a) its actually that straightforward b) the players would have no say and might not want to sign for us and c) this is United - it'd be far too sensible for us to just get Skriniar, Brozovic or Martinez.

We'll probably the only club in history that'll just get ignored or stalled until right after the transfer window closes and then we can say "we were after at least 2 Inter players but they wouldn't pay up.....now, we've signed nobody because they were the only players that were 'gettable'. Still, Phil Jones has signed on for another 4 years."

I would have partially forgiven his first touch if he used his size and strength to absolutely dominate centre halves. But he didn't. Seven stone nothing Jamie Vardy is more of a physical presence

Oh, and Lukaku was absolutely horrendous in large for us. Yeah he scored a few but the amount of times where, in that one moment where he'd receive the ball, he'd look like he'd honestly just been introduced to football. Stephen Hawkin would have controlled the ball better at times. Shocking.

Knock £10m off in lieu of being their shirt sponsor.

We’ll probably end up with Mikael Silvestre and a pickled egg.
