Thumbs up

May have been Chelsea's B team but still, loving that performance. Things definitely on the up.

Exciting times.

They were only without a few players. It was a flattering scoreline but as positive as anything is that they, one of our main rivals for 4th, look pretty shite in defence and up front. Zouma looked an accident waiting to happen from the first minute. Be delighted if he starts all season for them.

Rudiger.

Only Pedro (maybe) of that front 4 will start. Kante to start fully fit. Alonso an upgrade on Emerson, who ran the ball out of play mindlessly at times.

It's a good start. They could have easily outscored us with their better players out there, we were wide open at the back despite people piping Maguire and Lindelof off. For a period in that first half it was much worse than Smalling & Jones. Chance after chance.

Let's see how it goes.

Alright then,

United played a shit team and smashed them. What else were they supposed to do?

Carved us open very easily at times - they targeted Shaw a lot which isn’t too surprising because he’s fat and very average. Most of our problems were caused by our midfield imo.

Not looked like they could get smashed off a B team the first 60 minutes?

They made out like Chelsea were 70's Brazil with that move down our left first half, Maguire steps across and no danger but he let it all happen standing in his zones ffs.

We could struggle against teams who park the bus and there is plenty to work on.

Great day, atmosphere was decent, good to be back

It wasn't a vintage performance and first half wasn't great but if you cant enjoy a 4-0 win against Chelsea then why £#%&!ing bother.

Up the reds!
