I don't reckon Mata's fit tbh, purely there for emergencies. You'd have to think he'd have seen action at some point in the last 2 games were he capable...

True, his season was supposed to be over - anyone in the ressies we can call up that's got pace & an eye for goal?

Anyone older than about 18 is £#%&!ed off on loan or not good enough these days (not a dig at Mourinho, just the current trend).

Rooney and Martial must have 90 minutes in them, Mkhi can play as a kick up the arse. Bigger problem is no Screech or Young. Both would've come in handy. As would TFM. Not even any point in playing Tuanzebe if Smalling and Jones are fit.

Looking at the first team squad, we have The Scottish Player & Willock.

Nope, me either.

Any sign of them in a matchday squad at all the last year or two?

Don't really want to be throwing them in against Arsenal away but...

The Scottish Player was on the bench last Sunday.

Seriously can't see him putting a load of kids in. Celta doesn't need a Herculean effort, just a professional job.

Also, City and Liverpool play before us. Granted his team will be announced during the Liverpool game but if either or both drop points, we need to be in a position to take advantage.

It's an issue for every team, such a step up to first team football. Hate the idea of second teams joining the pyramid but something needs to change.

Should beat Arsenal that team.

It's a shame we don't have another CM option or 2..

Would have been handy to have recall clauses in CBJ or varelas loan. They could have helped out at full back... it is only arsenal. Just need to defend in numbers and counter

Darms smalling jones blind
Carrick herrera
Lingard miki martial
Rooney

Well aware jones and smalling havnt played 15 mins in the last few months between them. But its arsenal..and bailly needs a rest

Make sure Rooney is on the left putting in a shift, get Tony up front.

Not really bothered with the line up tbh.

I would probably rest Rashford, Pogba, Valencia and Bailly though

Never been so confident going into an away match against Arsenal. The Mourinho-Wenger factor is strong

I think we might just go for this. A grinding draw really isn't much good to us, perhaps unless Southampton beat Liverpool.

De Gea
Valencia-Bailly-Blind-Shaw
Pogba-Carrick-Herrera
Mkhitaryan-Rashford-Martial

Destroy them.
