We didn’t even replace Sanchez either. We’ve got no strikers

Clearly went into the game way below 100%.

Absolutely grim state of affairs.

Was a massive gamble not replacing Lukaku, and it doesn’t look like paying off tbf.

It was.

They're shit and don't fit in what we're trying to do.

They aren't the solution to any of this.

I don't want to see players like Lukaku, Sanchez or Fellaini lining up for us. Ever.

Just a shame the replacement is injured too.

Ole wanted a forward and has said since he was disappointed we didn’t get one.

This one, again, is on Woodward who’s making the managers job that much harder than it already is ...

But some of us knew it would happen.

Lukaku has to be sold to balance the books, there was no money to bring another striker in. Spending £80m on a CB is the problem. HTH.

Lukaku isnt going to sit and play second fiddle. You either build your attack around him or he leaves.

See ya, lump.

Ole didn’t want to block Greeny’s path to the first team.

Not even on the bench

£#%&!ing hell...

We now have a guy, who hasn't scored in 10 months, playing as our striker.

My God...

Lukaku should've been sold, but also replaced. Even if it was with Llorente for a year or two ffs.

Ed Woodward in the stands

£#%&! off and die you chinless @#%&!.

£60m net spend.

We all know we're short, he hasn't done it deliberately and with the restraints the managers have financially, this was always a 5 window task.

Selling the shite and changing the profile of player we want was always a big thing we needed to do. Being short now doesn't change that.

Part of the problem of not getting rid of the shit is that they're just about useful enough to have around.

He won't get 5 windows. And rightly so.

Says who? Is that what Lukaku demanded? Start every game or sell me? Or did Ole just freeze him out without reassuring him?

Ole didn't rate him so he sold him.

He would have stayed if Ole wanted him to.
