he's a heck of a talent and would have been a great buy for United a couple seasons ago...at 29 i'm sure his cost and wages wouldn't warrant buying him now

Dunno. I typically don’t like signing players as old as he is with the injury record he has.. but, we sure could use a midfielder with his skills..

Is he not going to demand big wages? Could end up being another drain on the club. I never trust Bayern.

There is that. I wouldn’t be desperate for it to happen, but wouldn’t be against it either.. would be a gamble, could be a brilliant one though..

He’s all about technique, he can play for years. Injuries are grim, but I don’t see him failing anywhere he goes as his first touch, weight of pass & vision are certi as £#%&!. I’d take him in a heartbeat & would bemoan him joining a rival. A lovely, lovely player.

Sounds like George Graham in his prime.

Id avoid tbh.

Can see him going to the Vermin and fading away into obscurity.

Doubt he’d sign for us

If he did he probably wouldn’t be signing for the right reasons and would produce his best

He's fantastic. Getting better as he gets older. Never runs, just knows.

Great signing for them if he can stay fit

Perfect signing for Klopp. Good player who will definitely improve them, low level investment due to age/contract/injuries, and four years is about two longer than Klopp himself so the back end will be someone else’s problem.
