He won a trophy last year, got us back into the champions league and we are one game away from another domestic cup final .. Southgate or potter |

It's absolutely dire and you're a fool if you think otherwise. Are some people so blinkered because they nailed their colours to EtH's mast early and don't want to lose sage points? |

Couldn't give a single £#%&! about sage points .. The whole forum wanted him, even Manchester city were rumoured to be chasing him at one point, he was one of the best managers in European football when we took him on last season ... Stop posting blatant lies.... He didn't send his players out to walk about abs show minimum effort last night.... If you think it was all on him then you're an idiot.. Yeah, it's shit winning things isn't it ... |

Yes we got in the champions league but we were utterly humbled in by far the weakest group. Last night was breathtakingly shit again, it’s indefensible. |

Last night wasn't on him... If you genuinely believe that a manager noted as an astute tactician - whose exploits set the standard for much of the fanbase to crave his acquisition - is deliberately setting his side up to fail, I don't know what to say to you. He didn't Instruct rashford to walk all first half .. |

Last season we had a bit of new manager bounce. The players wanted a more technical manager after Ole and up until the league Cup final things seemed quite rosey. Things changed dramatically when the dippers thrashed us. Our weaknesses were laid bare and players heads dropped. It appears to have changed his tactics a bit. We've failed to recover from that mauling and it's got progressively worse. Of course there have been high points but for each one there have been new lows. Spectacular lows. We've been embarrassed by some extremely poor teams. Frequently. He's shown for a year now that he has no solution. He's proven to be too stubborn to change and whatever system he's trying to play isn't working. It'll never work. Whether he was the most in demand manager or not doesn't really change the fact it isn't working. To stick with him when it's this bad would be madness and it's difficult to imagine that this is how ineos want to start their reign. But he keeps playing him. Rewarding failure. |

He keeps playing him as we are riddled with injuries or have no other players in his position...
Remember that martial player ? We're enduring a season riddled with endless injuries, inadvertently preventing him from any form of consistent options in selection..... But yeah, it's all Erik's fault... |

We'll have to agree to disagree as it's impossible to convince me that my eyes are seeing anything other than a manager that has run out of ideas and is unable to change things. |
