Switching Off

Football Player of the Season

Voting now open. Should be a miserable do after LVG's high jinx of the past couple of years.

Tony V. He's a beast. Had a great season.
Actual winner will be Zlatan though.

I wouldn't say Valencia's been that great. Does his shift all right and doesn't get caught out at all any more but his final ball is still dreadful and kills lots of our attacking play. Decent but hardly player of the season stuff, even this season.

Anyway it's Zlat. Don't be silly.

It should be Antonio Valencia.

But that overrated walking wardrobe Zlatan will win. Better #marketing, media hype and £#%&!ing fanboy saps.

valencia has adapted to the system and what has been asked of him. ibra has had the team built around his shortcomings (rather unsuccessfully, but still...). obviously, valencia isn't going to score 28 goals and can't cross, but then ibra can't tackle or run. swings and roundabouts. the tiger applies himself.

Says volumes when we all want it to recognise a player for doing what he's told.
