There are plenty of people with more than enough money to buy United, and to fund a massive overall of the squad, facilities, infrastructure etc. I'm actually surprised that there's not more news about this. As a franchise United must be the holy grail for anyone interested in owning a team.

Obviously they won't get 4 billion dollars for it but if they get 3.5 or 3 billion they'll still be laughing all the way to the bank because they acquired a football club without spending any of their own money and then sold it for a shit load.
They got 4 billion for Snapchat

And imagine being the person who restored a once great team back to their rightful place at the top. Could be Dubai who'd buy us and as long as we started playing football as we should the fans would worship them as deities at this point.

It's a phenomenal amount of money for a sports franchise. Surely at the top of its value curve.

Do you think Warren Buffett would be interested? Jeff Bezos? Why not?

Would Qatar? Saudi? Yes. Because it's a political tool.

We'll probably end up selling to ISIS.

What I've read, it is the Saudi's that is thinking about forking over 4 billion for the club. Remember this was before the killing of Khashoggi. Looks like MBS is looking for places to stash future bodies.

Anyone except the Saudis!

Jim ratcliffe, supposedly. I never believed that Chelsie bid story. Always assumed it was leverage during negotiations with the glazers. .

They need to spend and I think financially there’s no flexibility left. We probably still owe loads on the players we’ve already signed.

would be a laugh if snapchat bought us. bunny filters on the players and the matches only lasting 10 seconds sounds like just what we need, tbh.

If we do get bought It’ll either be outright by a dictatorship or another LBO that everyone hates so much. If you think 450m of debt was bad, wait until we owe 2 billion.

Or they could float again I guess.

Big Kim could play centre forward and we'd lose nothing in mobility.
