Fred has been better this season than any other imo, although still $#*!.

Fred never goes hiding

Fred is a schizo of a footballer. One half he’ll be beyond embarrassing, the next he’s all over the pitch, closing down opposition players like a pit bull hunting toddlers.

McTominay is just consistently $#*! and an utter coward.

I’d be curious to see if ETH can significantly improve McTominay, if so could live with him as a league cup reserve. Fred is uncoachable and I never want to see him again

Fred is a better footballer. Both are a nightmare. Smash them into one and there would be a decent player.

What? Pretty sure McT came on for Fred and his arrival heralded our best period of the game?

Scott was better than Fred yesterday, but both are awful players.....

Fred all day every day - never stops working always available for a pass - even when he’s not playing well - if mctominay wasn’t an academy product he would have been gone long ago - average is too kind

Alright, alright, you’ve caught me out!

I think McTominay is a decent player who, like a lot our players, has gone through a difficult period recently.

Neither he nor Fred were up to the task of carrying the load in a United midfield, but I'd be interested to see how he would get on given a run of games beside Casemiro.

He is a lovely striker of the ball and should really get forward and shoot more.

I admire Fred's industry but that is really his only quality. He is a genuinely awful football. He passes the ball like rolling dice, it could go anywhere.
