Fred is a better footballer. Both are a nightmare. Smash them into one and there would be a decent player.

I think McTominay is a decent player who, like a lot our players, has gone through a difficult period recently.
Neither he nor Fred were up to the task of carrying the load in a United midfield, but I'd be interested to see how he would get on given a run of games beside Casemiro. He is a lovely striker of the ball and should really get forward and shoot more. I admire Fred's industry but that is really his only quality. He is a genuinely awful football. He passes the ball like rolling dice, it could go anywhere. |
