Is Herrera expected to be back then?

We've got another day of training tomorrow, for some idiot to injure themselves as well...

Can't be arsed with football.

It's when these threads come up that you realise how few options we actually have. Would rest Schweini and keep Herrera for Tuesday. Far bigger game and with Wolfsburg playing Dortmund on Saturday, a few fresh legs could give us an edge. Give Pereira a game.

If we play well without Rooney he stays out for Tuesday pls.

One holding midfielder, please, Louis, you increasingly boring, negative Dutch meathead.

Release Clause @#%&! #NeverForgetNeverForgiveSummer15

Darmian --- McNair --- Smallingbauer --- Blind

Schneiderlin

Schweinsteiger --- Herrera

Lingard ------- Martial ------- Depay

That front five should be good enough to score a few goals if they're allowed to pass forwards and have a shot from more than 3 yards.

its like moyes with results thrown in for good measure.

would rather blow the leaves outside than watch this side.

Its not been pure football, just death by side ways passing.

Still aboard, but I'm clinging on to the stern, Siders. However, the last few games have tempted me to let go and allow the sea to swallow me up.

I need to see improvements. Is a goal too much to ask for? How about a shot? A dribble? A smile?

My thoughts have been shaped by the looming fixture at Anfield next month.

Remember the last game at Anfield? Plenty were swimming in the freezing cold waters at that point.

We sail again

Don't know where the goals are going to come from now that Rooney is out.

How's that 20 goals for Rooney this season going? I've lost count.

The style and idea is nothing like Moyes, but I agree it's frustrating.

Neville gave as good a rational analysis as you'll get in the media at the moment. Hard to watch, but goals keep fans patient when you aren't playing great. It'll be interesting to see us without Rooney, but ultimately I agree with him that we need to see the side with one or two added in the final third. We have one proper striker at the moment, and even he is 19 and has spent more of his career on the wing.

0-1.

Some dipper on facebook mentioned that Sturridge has scored more domestic goals despite being injured all season
