he's got what I've got. If he's actually feeling ill his kidney function must have gone to pretty much £#%&! all very quickly. And FSGS isn't reversible apart from a few rare occurrences so I assume he'll need dialysis/ transplant at some point.

Edit: he's already had dialysis so function must be under about 8%

yep. i was elated when we signed him. i went out and got 'cole 17' on the back of the home shirt from the local sports shop the day after, only they did it in snide, small unofficial lettering - it looked shit still wore it, though

I £#%&!ing love big Andy. This is one of my favourite ever goals. Like everything about him, disgustingly unappreciated by the bitter as £#%&! abu's. If Messi done this we'd never hear the £#%&!ing end of it....

Hope he pulls through 100%

Absolutely £#%&!ing brilliant goal. Fantastic touch.
IIRC, that goal was v Spurs on the last day of the season in 99 - we needed to beat Spurs to be sure of winning the title, so it was a pressure game.

If SOP had scored that goal, we'd still be hearing about it now.

Big Mittz posted this earlier

Surely just a side effect of the treatment he has been having.

Did not look that bloated in his face last I saw him do media work a couple of months ago or so.

Speedy recovery King Cole.
