Team news and injuries
"Wayne Rooney is still injured. I'm surprised, it's been longer than we thought it would be. He was meant to be back training but he's not. It's nothing serious but it looks like he's going to be out for another two weeks or so. Nani is expected to start training today, and Phil Jones is available against West Ham. Everyone else is OK I think. Rooney won't be fit for Liverpool. I don't think so. It's nothing serious, he just got clipped behind his knee. Nothing shows in the scan but he's still feeling it. Hopefully in two weeks it'll be sorted but nonetheless it's a loss."

West Ham in the Cup
"We've had some really difficult ties over last three or four years. You hope first of all you're going to be at home in the draw, then you want a draw you can get through. But this is a particularly hard one, they're in good form and they're at home. Sam [Allardyce] has done great job there getting them promoted first of all. It's not easy to bounce right back but they've done well and their form has been very good. They've had some excellent results. So it's going to be a tough game. I don't think we'll make too many changes. I think we'll more or less play a strong team and hopefully we'll get through."

Wouldn't be surprised to see Rooneh playing against the mickeys tbh. Classic Fergs.

If not, Hernandez up top and Van Persie playing a touch deeper like at Wigan.

For this weekend, RVP to come off the bench when we're 2-1 down to score a couple, causing a mini pitch invasion ala Villa Park 10 years ago with Ruud

Yea, huge surprise. Usually, the club's estimates of how long a player will be unavailable are spot on

Struggle to give a single £#%&! about the FA Cup, for the most part it's a load of £#%&!ing crap these days. Wouldn't bother risking anyone likely to feature against the murderers.

I'd love us to win the FA Cup this season personally. Been far too long.

9 years and some of the circumstances in which we have been knocked out

The squad is strong enough to compete on all fronts. Second half of the season should be fun

Not so sure on that.

Carrick and a couple of others should be saved for CL/PL imo.

True, but league comes first. If we went through but RVP got injured in the process, i think I'd rather just go out.

strong side, only a game a week atm

probably rest RvP and hold Vidic back, not sure about Carrick and Evra... wouldn't fancy a defence with both Jones and Smalling in it atm tbh

So he's back. Kagawa is back. Nani is on his way back. Vidic is back. So if nobody gets injured before Rooney comes back then we will have a .....fullly....fit.....squad?
