Shouldn't have got rid of him. He's the best backup we had.

Jones still at the club.

He’ll always be associated with Phil Jones. Like some £#%&!ing Ant and Dec CB pairing thats been a contributing factor to our lack of success after Ferguson.

All that aside, he’s not a bad footballer but at the same time he’s not better than Tuanzebe.

He’s a very good defender. He’s a terrible footballer who puts his team at a disadvantage if the opposition make use of his weakness with the ball, whether it be letting him have space and closing down his options or pressing him into a mistake.

Exactly. It’s annoying hearing that the games ‘evolved’ but it probably has. You can’t afford to have someone in that area who isn’t comfortable with the ball.

He’ll beast it over there. They love a no nonsense physical defender, and he could never be accused of not being huge, strong and quick.

1-0 up you'd love him, 1-0 down he's an issue.

The first time I saw him play I thought he was afraid of the ball. Has he been lending his wife and her friends out to the succession of managers? There's no other logical reason to explain how he's managed to remain a pro footballer.
