Juve aren't arsed whether they win 1-0 or 3-0. They back themselves to see out a game from a winning position.

That's really the only reason they didn't ruin us. If they'd been chasing a few goals on aggregate they'd have smashed us to bits.

Lucky goal? The only thing lucky about it was that it was the only one we conceded. If we’d gone in for half time two or three down, there could be few complaints
Sorry, I wasn't very clear.

In it at 1-0 in the sense that every team is still in it as long as it's 1-0.

Yep.

I didn't think they were that great tbh.... but they didn't need to be. And they knew they didn't need to be. They were sloppy for a time in the second half and still largely untroubled.

As we've said, it was like an away game We used to have against a mid table side: always in control, had to weather a bit of pressure, but that was about it.

That's our level now.

If we're cursing our luck for not getting own goals, we're in a shit place.

This is not an unlucky team. It's just a shit one.

Not having that.

Pogba hit the post and we slung a lot of aimless balls into the box which their defence made light work of.

They soaked us up quite comfortably, which is what a top team does away in Europe.

We didn't deserve anything last night.

Looked to me like Juve wanted us to have the ball second half, which we did up to about 20 yards from goal, from there on the was nothing for United. I'd be surprised if Juve hadn't registered more goal attempts than United 2nd half.. had us right where they wanted us and we had nothing at all to offer and no ideas whatsoever.

Garbage.

Some of you saying Juve didn't play like one of the best teams in Europe, ever stopped to think they didn't need to be? Had they played against an actual top team I'm sure they could have raised their game.

This.

They held us at arms length because that's our level.

We were in the game in as much as they didn't kill it and we might have scabbed an equaliser.

We worked harder second half, but we didn't play well.

So your saying Young meant to booted the ball to him for the first on Saturday.

You get what you put into the game.
