Not too surprised either, obviously disappointing to lose Queiroz but at least Nani's development shouldn't be hampered too much with him being Portuguese. I'm sure Q and Fergie are in weekly contact.

he's put in a number of excellent performances for us already. there's been plenty of shit ones as well, but no reason to write off a young kid the way some on here seem to be so keen to do.

good prospect, plenty of potential.

Why, don't you think he could handle it or are you thinking of saving him til late on where perhaps his pace could have more impact ?

well, no, not really. ronnie's performances stood out right from his debut. a bit up and down, true, but it doesn't bear comparison.

nani's a good player, though. no, i wouldn't start him against liverpool or chelsea, but he's got good potential. wingers always get the most ridiculous shit from fans - giggs, ronnie, nani... they try to do the unexpected, to take chances, beat their man - of course it will go wrong sometimes. but some of the comments about nani are just plain daft. imo, of course.

he only stood out more because he did more tricks, he contributed but he didnt win us game by himself. i know nani isnt as good as good as ronaldo, i meant it was the same as they were both inconsistent with their performances

Didn't watch it.

Queiroz crashes to a defeat in his first qualifier home game.

The recent appointments suggest Fergie thinks that too.

Ridiculous. They're 1-0 up with six minutes to go, then let one in before re-taking the lead with three minutes to go, only to concede twice in injury time. Vintage Portugal.
