I honestly don't think our squad was as bad as people say in 2013.

If you look at that squad now and compare it to what we have now. Is it £300m+ better(Moyes signed Mata and Fellaini remember).

Due to our financial power we will never disappear, but I think we missed a bit of an opportunity in 2013. Even though I don't personally like any of them, you had Guardiola, Mourinho and Ancelotti all taking up employment in 2013 and we end up with David Moyes.

An elite manager taking over from Ferguson in 2013 coupled with our financial might would have seen us now in 2015 not being a side fighting for 4th with perennially badly run clubs like Liverpool and Spurs. Bare minimum....

He was asked about that recently, he said he'd never heard of Bebe at the time. That deal just £#%&!ing stinks all over.

Funnily enough Queroz' agent at the time was Jorge Mendes.

It was always about creating players. Now it is the opposite.
It was the opposite last August. Now United have gone back to doing what Fergie would do. I reckon Frog loves the Martial signing tbh.

Also, got love for Big Carlos but he's got nerve talking about playing entertaining football

He made us defensively sound & we played some very entertaining football domestically in his time; the 2003 run in comes to mind, as does 2006-2008.

If you're talking about Europe though

Yeah, he was very good at his job. The problems came when he thought he could be a number one instead.

Bit of a strange one of the 4ums Carlos.

He got absolute pelters for the football that we were playing circa 2005. Then he was heralded as the brains behind our European Cup win in 2008...

Maybe not, but he knows where the money went.

Indeed. It's almost like he needed time building the defensive foundations first.
