Then you'd talk shit. Our first double in 94, a historic second double in '96, with Ian Rush's last touch for Liverpool setting Eric up and a part of the treble in '99.

Without the FA Cup win in '16, saffers would have been even more unbearable about Mourinho as well.

If we didn’t win those, we’d have still won the league. We’d have had successful seasons. They’re part of historic seasons, of course, but we didn’t need them as much then as we do now. The longer we go without a trophy, the more important they become. That’s the point.

I used to cut the numbers out of spare tokens to make up the ones we were missing. Like making a 22 out of a 21. It worked a treat
