Default Chelsea offer £40m for Anthony Gordon!

According to someone or other. Rejected by Everton.

Good player IMO. Think he'll need to force a move though, as Everton are already in dire straits, and can't see them gladly selling one of their best players.

Exactly the type of young, talented, exciting British player United would have signed from another Premier League club in the 90s.

We don't do smart business these days though, of course. We just watch from the sidelines as rivals lap us.

They must be touching £300 million now with their spending.

Signing a young midfielder from Inter for £12m too. So 2 CM’s U20 signed this summer.

2nd time they’ve done £250m+ in a summer in 3 years isn’t it?

We needed it then and we need it now.

I don’t like him based solely on his appearance. Could be a combination of peak Ronaldo and Messi and I’d still dislike him. Weirdo in the dole queue vibes.

Got it dyed over the summer no? Could be best investment he ever made.

If I was him, I'd be doing everything I can to get away from that Everton dressing room.

Nowhere near as toxic as United's of course, but Alli makes Lingard look like one of the Neville brothers in terms of professionalism.

Why do they want him so much given they’ve just bought Sterling?
