Not sure he will ever be 'sacked' potentially walk to save face.

Any other manager would be getting hammered and rightfully so. Ole is probably the only person in the world that would get this kind of faith shown in him by the fans.

I mean imagine if this was, I dunno, David Moyes for example

I feel like we need another 6 months of shit before i can really get my point across so I will leave it for the time been.

Now that’s something we can all agree on.

He didn’t sell him, his contract expired and he didn’t sign the one offered to him. Fergie wanted him to stay

So you think Fergie would have let him go if he wanted him to stay?
Gullible indeed.

Do you understand the concept of fixed term contracts?

His contract ran out and Fergie didn' try too hard to keep him. So he never really wanted him to stay. Not rocket science is it. FFS

Did he not have a couple of chances to play him in mf but instead played a defender out of position there?

He was out of contract.

Of all the amusing things people say on here, i think giving it the arrogant big 'un and being utterly utterly wrong might be the most pleasing.

Carry on.

Why couldn’t fergie get the best out of his players from 1986-1990 when he could from 1992 onwards?

6 games into his first full season, you cretin, after 1 transfer window. Any manager being hammered in that situation would say more about the fans than the manager.

Why wait? We know this season is going to be something to try and get through the best we can. If the club had bought the 2 midfielders ole wanted it wouldn’t even be an issue.

I’d suggest waiting another 18 months or not bothering.

Probably. It would be unusual if he was telling the truth.

I’d imagine the point is if Fergie wanted to keep him badly enough, the club would have done the necessary deal to do so.

As it was, he tried to absolve himself from any responsibility for the club losing a highly rated young player by claiming he thought Pogba had another year left on his contract.

Think he played rafael and park in central midfield, which tipped Pogba over the edge. Pretty clear message tbf.

This was after fergie spent the summer leading up to that season bigging up Pogba as a reason not to buy anyone (of course fergie would never use a young player as a cover for the club not having money to spend because of the debt servicing pressures at the time).

When did Pogba hire raiola? Was it well before that match or in response to it?
