Similar to RVN's record. Yet we played better faster counter-attacking football with him out of the team.

The walking wardrobe can't even run

I hope Rashford is patient

RVN and Ibra are nothing alike. Ibra is more like Yorkie while RVN was more like Ole.

His all round game was poor today, but he'll get 25+ goals this season. When was the last time we had one of those? VP first season?

A player of his experience should have done a lot more when Lingard nicked it off the keeper and slotted him in. He could have run at goal but he had no awareness of what was around him. It should have been a goal.

On the other hand the goal he scored was a half chance at best. Incredible balance, technique and improvisation to get his boot around it and squeeze it between the defenders. I don't think anyone else on the pitch could have done that.

All the other chances weren't clear ones. Mostly half volleys from the edge of the box or the City defenders closed him down quickly.

The game was a bit quick too quick for him but he was still a threat. He certainly wasn't the issue today.

The Ruud statement isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. Despite the amount of goals he scored, the way we played to feed him was detrimental to the team. Ruud mostly did his job but when he didn't we were stuffed. That was a relatively baron time for United. 1 league and 1 fa cup in 5 years was hardly a success. Still loved him though.

Replace Rooney with Rashford and we as a team and Zlatan as a player will look miles better.
