foty 2021: official* thread of the year 2021 reminder thread

we all know that, when it comes to thread of the year, only about six people vote. because how are you going to remember a thread you thought was great 12 months later unless?

what we need is a bin... I mean a repository... to throw great nominations into as the year progresses.
