was out having dinner with some folks last night and one of them was raging at how bad he thought it was. "I watched all three and half hours ffs"

Itís a bit meh from me, just finished. Almost pulled back in by the end but felt a touch apathetic when the credits rolled ultimately. Like the Breaking Bad film, it was a story that didnít need to be told & it felt lacking in the pacing. Every great film is paced beautifully & this just wasnít. Pacino was the absolute slab of ham. Thereís a 20min post show interview with them all around a table now - not sure if anyoneís watched it but it looks far more interesting tbh.

It took four viewings to finish it as I kept falling asleep.

Well acted but the storyline wasnít there. The cgi was decent weird but you got used to it. If it had a proper storyline it couldíve been brilliant. As it was 6/10

enjoyed it. tit wasn't on a par with goodfellas or casino but was a good story in it's own right. good luck sitting through it all in one go though.

but i couldn't take my mind off how de niro looked so old. I really wanted to buy into it. Telling myself people looked older in the past, or maybe the real frank sheeran was as flexible as a radiator? but the scene outside the shop was too much.

all in all, 7.7/10

the gushing reviews are a bit ott

It was difficult to know which of them was suffering the most pain in that scene.

Deffo could have been done better.

Just having the camera focus on her face as you hear the sounds of the guy getting a beating, then pan out to see him lying in the gutter and RdN walking away.

Pacino was Steve Van Zandt playing Silvio Dante playing Al Pacino.

Robert De Niro talking Italian

Good film, far too long though.
