I would have been gutted had we not got Nani. IMO Nani will be better and is 4 yrs younger.

Bayern will pay an initial £17.6m fee for Ribery, 24, and an extra £2.7m if Bayern qualify for the Champions League at the end of next season

He will be at Newcastle in 3 years time, with trips to Lazio, Athletico and PSG in between. 150,000 shirtless Geordies will hail him as the second coming of Faustino Asprilla and they will not be wrong. Trips to Tottenham and Portsmouth could also be on the cards. Stay tuned...

Agreed, thank god we didn't get him especially at that price
