I don’t think it’s a case of needing to have whipping boys per se, more a case of us addressing the most glaring weaknesses in the team then shining a light on the second round of upgrades required. Shaw has been average to poor for a while; he’s just benefitted massively from Young/Valencia at right back, and Smalling/Jones/Bailly at centre back diverting attention from him. Now there are fewer places to hide.

He’s reluctant to make too many incisive runs deep, and loves a nothing ball once he gets into the final third. There’s just something about him that looks way too heavy. Heavy footed, ponderous and slow of thought and action.

Your concern is Mou's TV career and not Shaw being cack?

Probably a gesture inspired by watching Mou bully him for three years tbf
It isn't voted for by the players, unless it has changed.

It’s the lack of movement when joining the attack that pisses me off the most. He’ll pass the ball to an attacker and just stand there...

Looking....

Watching...

Waiting..........zzzzzzzz

Make a run and drag a defender out of position you lazy £#%&!er

Even AWB who’s been here five minutes does it ffs.

Shaw isn't cack. Players' player

And the thread is about Mou's TV career. Unfortunately I think it'll only continue to expose that he's mentally cracked.

So Mou pointing out Shaw is rarely in position exposes that he's mentally cracked?
