La Liga is dodgy as £#%&!. Why would they allow Barca to sign him now, out of the window, when Dembele was injured & known to be knacked back in January?

Not that this @#%&! will do much... couldn't cut it at Boro for 6 months before being binned

Allowed Barca to sign him on emergency cover but won’t allow Leganes to replace him

Makes sense. You can only sign players if you are struggling with long term injuries. Leganes didnt have to sell.

Set a release fee that is only active in the window then.

Don’t think they can. Spanish rules etc. Plus, I’m pretty certain they didn’t expect Barca to come knocking for Braithwaite in February

Replacing a player that was already known to be out for the season back in January when the window was open? Stinks tbh - they had their chance. Utd had to scramble for King / Ighalo at the last minute, this guy had a buy out clause they could have activated within the window and didn't. £#%&! 'em.

The rule in Spain, and Spain only, is if you have a player ruled out for longer than 4 months through injury you can ask for special dispensation to bring in a player to replace them outside of the transfer window, but that player has to be from the Spanish League. In this instance they have been granted permission, which enabled them to basically ruin any hope Leganes had of avoiding relegation.

Imagine we were allowed to ask the PL for permission to sign a striker as Rashford is now out for the season, or Pogba even, and then we just rocked up at Wolves and paid the release clause for Neves or Jimenez and Wolves got no say in it and weren't themselves allowed to bring in a replacement

Shameless.

Now Barcelona are saying the rule is unfair and shouldn’t be allowed.
Quality trolling.
