The club played in Newtown Heath for fewer than 20 years and has played in Old Trafford for over a hundred years, our history is mostly in our current stadium. If you don't believe me feel free to double check with that fake sheikh you fawned over.

More interestingly, Newton Heath/United played home games in Ancoats, Ardwick, Gorton and a few other places in the early years.

“ Speaking about building a new stadium or renovating an existing stadium, he said: "Trafford Park is where the industrial revolution began. If you look at that region of Manchester today - only a mile from the centre - it is tired and neglected and parts are quite run down.

"There is quite a big argument, in my view, for regenerating that whole south side of Manchester”

You know what you’re doing….

he is basically on my side on the fence.

United need a new shiny stadium that will be the premier stadium in England Europe just like the club is trying to get back to being.

Trafford Park is not where the industrial revolution began ffs. Love Jim but think he's got this one wrong. Maybe I'll come around once the dust settles

Manchester United like to do it the hard way, Jim. So it will be a south stand cantilevered over a railway line. And it will cost loads.

But people will marvel at it.

Why are you even referencing Granville, Marlo?

He can obviously proclaim to support United, but when it comes to a new stadium he has zero, and I mean zero say. He’s a Welsh shopkeeper, ignore the @#%&!.
