Too late for POTY in the awards?

Would be great to see The Medmeister General get an award.

Still buzzing ffs. What a game. Nobody let the side down today. As zorg pointed out earlier, would much rather have a side with this style and ethos than 11 Carlos kickaballs for a petrodollar oligarch.

ahem...

Of the 14 players to play for United today, five came from the academy. In the squad of 18, it's seven. City didn't play anyone from the academy and the one player of 18 they did have, Foden, stayed on the bench. #ManchesterIsRed

Best team performance I can remember. City weren’t great but they were all at it. Especially some of the lesser heralded guys. Lindelof, Fred, Lingard all stood up. Huge platform for Ole to build on.

Not so easy to beat Man Utd without Xavi-Iniesta-Messi, eh, Pep??

Thumbs up

There's a lot to like in this team. World-class goalkeeper, finally a right-back who looks worthy of the shirt, The Scottish Player and Rashford looking like academy players that will become long-term first XI picks, the pace and fearlessness of James, some exciting youth on the fringes including Tuanzebe, Greenwood, Williams and Garner.

I like what Ole is building, and he needs to be backed financially to continue the job. With Pogba committed, and 3 new signings, it will look like some good progress.

Never thought it would happen this season, but 4th is a possibility.

Went absolutely perfectly today, just a shame we didn’t get a couple more early doors to properly see their true colours come to the fore.

Rashford stopping that ball dead then curling it onto the bar. That would have been the goal of a world class player.

Reckon it’d have got extremely toxic in there if it had been 3 or 4 at the break, as it could and probably should’ve been..

Still buzzing to £#%&!

Great performance; great week. AWB was absolutely outstanding as was Fred. Maguire, lingard, Shaw and lindelof all did really well too. The front 3 were £#%&!ing dynamite. Rashford is about to become world class - you can see it. What a signing James has been!!!

The Scottish Player superb as usual. So impressed with United this week. Felt like the old days. Proper performances; confidence, swagger, full of pace: great to watch. I was gooning about like a lunatic. Kids were scared to death

These are the times when I miss living in England. £#%&!ing superb.

Finally - Ole 😍
